Where we deliver
Vegan Grandnews ships wholesale vegan and kosher frozen food by the case from Brooklyn, and delivers across the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut. The order minimum is the same everywhere in that area: 300 dollars, which you can reach by mixing different cases from the catalog.
The areas we cover
- Brooklyn
Our freezer is in Brooklyn, on 76th Street, so Brooklyn orders travel the shortest distance of anywhere we serve.
- Manhattan
Restaurant and catering kitchens across Manhattan order the same case packs as everyone else; nothing changes except the address on the order.
- Queens
Queens covers a wide spread of neighborhoods, from Astoria out to the Rockaways, and all of it falls inside the delivery area.
- The Bronx
The Bronx is served in full, including the Hunts Point area where a lot of food businesses sit.
- Staten Island
Staten Island is part of the standard delivery area, on the same case minimum as the other boroughs.
- Long Island
Nassau and Suffolk are both covered, which puts caterers and country clubs out east inside the same order minimum.
- New Jersey
Northern New Jersey is a short run from the Brooklyn freezer and is served on the same terms as the boroughs.
- Connecticut
Connecticut rounds out the delivery area, so a kosher or plant-based program there does not need a second supplier.
Who we deliver to
Most of what leaves the freezer goes to restaurants, caterers, schools and grocers who need a plant-based or kosher line they can rely on week to week. We also deliver to households stocking a freezer, on exactly the same terms — the minimum is an order size, not a business requirement.
Why it ships frozen, by the case
Everything we carry is fully cooked and individually quick frozen, so a case holds in your freezer and you take out only what a service needs. That is what makes a single delivery worth the trip across the metro area: you are not buying for tomorrow, you are stocking a few weeks of a line.
